Moms deserve a break...

Last weekend we gave my cousin Kristen a break and took her kids for a few hours. Brynn loved playing with the scooter and Conner played soccer with McCall and Jeff. We grabbed lunch and headed to the park (I forgot my camera-damn)...but we played on the swings, played football and threw the Frisbee. We came back home for Popsicles, juice and more scooter time.
Every mom deserves a break....lets hope Kristen enjoyed hers!

My dear friend Carolina....

FRIENDS....
© Jodi Kenyon
A friend is someone true and for real,
A friend is someone who means a great deal.
A friend won't hurt you,
A friend won't lie,
A friend will never permanantly say good-bye.
A friend is there through the good times and bad,
A friend is there to cheer you up when your sad.
A friend is always there with a shoulder to cry on,
A friend is always there that you can rely on.
So, friend if you ever need someone honest and true,
Just remember I'll always be here for you

We love our BINDI

I lie belly-up
In the sunshine,
happier than you ever will be.
Today I sniffed
Many dog butts —
I celebrate by kissing your face.
Sleeping here, my chin
On your foot —
no greater bliss.
No human could love you as much I do.

Happy Birthday Sandy...

Today was an awesome day. My Aunt Sandy came into town to celebrate her “29th” birthday with me. She has never had a pedicure so I booked us an appointment and off we went. (I think she rather enjoyed herself and might do it again.) There were no kids to bother us, no phones to answer, no chores to do...just complete relaxation!!

We went to Olive Garden for lunch (I tried to get her to eat sushi but she wouldn’t have it). We went to Kohl’s for some shopping, picked up the kids from school and had chocolate cake. What a nice break from the monotony of everyday life.
I wish everyday could be this fun!

My aunt Sandy is as close to an older sister as I am going to get. She is only 10 years older than me and we have always been super close. It was nice to spend the day together catching up and laughing. I hope she had a special birthday.
Love you!!
Ahhhh...relaxation!
Sandy's pretty color. Wish I would have picked it. :)
